Angel Swimmers LLC is a proud provider of the Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Self-Rescue® lessons. Angel Swimmers provide survival swim lessons for families in Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas. Children ages 6 months to 6 years old get swim lessons ONE ON ONE with certified ISR Instructor Michele Davis. During lessons, all children will learn to Roll-Back-to-Float a critical skill if an accidental fall into the water would occur. Children 1-6 years old will acquire the survival swimming skill of Swim-Float-Swim. This includes swimming with their face in the water and when they sense the need for air, roll back onto their backs to float. After resting and breathing they will roll over and continue to swim and float to the nearest point of safety. Babies 6 months to 12 months are taught to roll onto their backs to float, rest, and breathe. They learn to maintain this position until help arrives.
These are not your typical swimming lessons.
ISR is the safest provider of infant and young children survival swimming lessons worldwide. With more than 45 years of research and development behind ISR’s Self-Rescue® program. ISR teaches each child survival skills in conjunction with basic swimming lessons that give them the competence required to safely enjoy the water.
